Jose M. Fernandez

90, of Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 25, 2024.  He was the beloved husband of Dominicana (Nova) Fernandez.  Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Francisco J. and Cristina D. (Santos) Fernandez.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Rosa Dimillo Fernandez and her husband Raymond, Martha Fernandez and her husband Arkymedes Castro, Ana Fernandez and her husband Omar Salas, Jose Fernandez Jr., Luis Fernandez, Marianne Fernandez and her husband Jose Guaba; 15 cherished grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; dear siblings Rafael Fernandez, Rafael Polanco, Rafael Polanco, Miguel Polanco, and the late Juana Fernandez, Jose Fernandez, Cesar Fernandez.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS will be Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
