Joseph A. Accetta

85, of Exeter, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care RI. He was the loving husband of Rosalie (Campopiano) Accetta for 58 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Albena (Marcogliese) Accetta.

Joseph's life was marked by his passion for communications and his love for family.

From a young age, Joseph was drawn to the world of communications. This early interest blossomed into a successful career as he took on the substantial responsibility of owning and operating Radio-Phone Communications Inc. His contributions to the field were significant, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of working alongside him. Joseph was also a chief engineer at a local radio station for many years.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Joseph was an enthusiastic member of the Amateur Radio Club. Known by his call sign W1JW, he found joy and camaraderie in this community, enjoying the connections and conversations that the hobby brought into his life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, Providence. His burial is respectfully private.
