Joseph C. Montecalvo

of North Providence, passed away peacefully, with his wife and brother by his side on Sunday January 8, 2023 in Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Erminio Theodore and Patrina (DiNuccio) Montecalvo.

He left behind his beloved wife, Corinne, two daughters by his first marriage Joyce Ann DiSanto and Donna D’Andrea along with his devoted brother, Robert Hermann MonteCalvo as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Bryant College. He retired from the State of Rhode Island after 30 years.

Joseph loved gardening, dining out, cooking and he even had grapevines from Italy and 2 fig trees. Late in life he became an avid football aficionado.

His graveside service will be held on Thursday January 19, 2023 at 11am. at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Please gather at 10:45 am at the entrance of the Cemetery.
