Joseph A. Cerrito
85, a lifelong resident of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was the devoted husband of Gail Sandra (Labriole) Cerrito for 51 years. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Joseph and Maria (Moretti) Cerrito. Mr. Cerrito was an Army Veteran, serving during peacetime.
Besides his wife, he leaves his two sons, Robert and Kevin Van Meter; three granddaughters, Emilee O'Connor, Hannah Van Meter and Amelia Durante; three great grandchildren, Gabriel Ross, Jourdyn Durante and John Durante; brother of the late Ambrose "Andy" and Antonetta "Etta" Cerrito, and the late Aileen Castaldi.
VISITING HOURS are on Monday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private.
