Joseph W. Ciano

72, of Coventry, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI.  He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Assumpico) Ciano for 32 years.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Salvatore Ciano, Sr., and Mary (Porter) Ciano.  Joseph was an alumni of Cranston East High School, Roger Williams College and Providence College where he received his Master’s Degree. He was the owner of Scituate Potters from 1972 to 1980. Mr. Ciano was a salesman for Benefit Auto Trim and Restyling for many years before retiring. His favorite pastime was tending to his vegetable and flower gardens.

Besides his wife, Beverly, he is survived by his daughter, Felicia Klootwyk, her husband and their three children, of CA, and his two brothers, Salvatore Ciano, Jr., of Florida, and Thomas Ciano of Cranston.  He is also survived by two nephews and many more relatives, cousins and friends.
