JOSEPH COLANNINO

92, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday July 25, 2010 at Morgan Health Center, Johnston. Joseph was born in Johnston, the son of the late Angelo and Carmella (Mancogliese) Colannino. Mr. Colannino was a Registered Pharmacist, and was the co-owner with his late brother Anthony Colannino of the former Collins Drug Store. Joseph was a graduate of the former Rhode Island College School of Pharmacy, and was a member of the Rhode Island Honor Society. He was also a WW II Army veteran, serving in England. He is survived by his loving siblings, Peter and Christine Colannino both of Johnston, and was also the brother of the late Anthony "Tony" Colannino. His funeral and burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
