Joseph Cruso

75, of North Scituate, passed away on October 26, 2014 peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was the husband of Shirley (Lyons) Cruso. Born in Providence, he was a son of Joseph and Carolina (Trombetti) Cruso. Mr. Cruso was employed for Ciaba Giegy Chemical Company for over twenty years, before retiring. He was a member of the Johnston Senior Center and the Fun-Seekers of Johnston.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, David Cruso and his wife Dawn of North Scituate, Joseph M. Cruso of Johnston, and Michelle Fiske and her husband Ronald of North Scituate. Joseph was the cherished grandfather of Ashley, Robert, Kayla, Danielle, Victoria, and Anya. He was the great grandfather of Mia and Isabella. Joseph was the brother of James Cruso of North Kingstown, Palma Lamantia and her husband Anthony, Sr. of Johnston, and the late Angelina Carillo and Jeanette Cruso.

His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Cranston on Thursday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
