Joseph Benjamin Delmonico

30, of North Scituate, lost the battle to addiction and passed on to a new life on June 23, 2016. Son of Ernest (CFD ret) and Karen (Scaralia) Delmonico; brother to Allison Delmonico and her fiance Tom Clemons; father of Olivia Rose Delmonico and her mother Julia Sweet.
He is survived by his paternal grandmother Anna Delmonico and predeceased by his paternal grandfather Ernest D. Delmonico (CPD ret.) and maternal grandparents Benjamin and Hilda Scaralia.
He leaves his great aunt and uncle Al and Peg Scaralia, his Aunt Linda Scaralia, Judith Dibello and her husband William, John and Kathy Scaralia, Gianna and Kip Savoi
His aunts and uncle Ann and Peter Flanagan and Tom (CPD) and Lisa Okolowitz.
He was employed by Lawn Care Incorporated in Johnston for several years.
Joseph was a Veteran of OPERATION Iraqi Freedom and served in 169th MP of Warren. Joe lived his life for family and even after passing continues to make peace.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in RI Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 – 8 pm.
