Joseph E. Federici

79, of Chepachet, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of Rosemary F. (Montecalvo) Federici.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Giovanni Federici and Katherine (Faraone) Ferri.

Joseph worked as a chef for the State of R.I. MHRH for 35 years until his retirement.  He was an avid bowler.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Robyn Federici of Cumberland, Joseph Federici, Jr. and his wife Debra Almgren of Warwick, Rebecca Federici and her husband Jay Fawcett of Cumberland, Michael Major of Fall River; 8 cherished grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; dear siblings Carol Iadimarco of Johnston and Louis Federici and his wife Ruth Anne of North Providence.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence.  Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS will be Friday from 4 – 8 p.m.  Kindly omit flowers.
