Joseph Roger Norman Gagnier

51, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Tammy (Menna) Gagnier. Born in Providence, he was a son of Joseph and Jacqueline (Howayeck) Gagnier. He was also the step-son of Herman “Howie” Howayeck. Joseph was a metal fabricator for Allstate Fabricators. Joe lived his life enjoying every moment. He was a devoted man to his family and friends.  If you knew Joe, you knew he had a heart of gold.  He had a passion for playing his guitar, enjoyed spending time with his family, taking long rides on his Harley, and spent many days in his kayak.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his loving children Meagan Gagnier of Cranston, Mikaela Gagnier of Johnston, step-daughter Malissa Barrientos of Warwick and step-son Michael Spaziano of Warwick. He was the cherished grandfather of Owen Barrientos; brother of Dora-Lys Rubin of Johnston and her husband Eric; uncle of two nieces, Jenna-Lys Rubin and Jillian Rubin; and his best friend Earl Butler.

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick. VISITING HOURS: Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
