Joseph John Giramma

61, of Sweet Meadows Court, Narragansett passed away suddenly on Monday, June 9, 2014 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn "Carrie" (Biggs) Giramma. On June 25th they would have celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary. Born in Providence, he was a son of Christine (Gionti) Giramma of Johnston and the late Joseph Giramma. Mr. Giramma was the owner-operator of the former JDG Associates of New York City for over 25 years. He then was a salesman for Speed Craft Volkswagen. Joseph was an avid sports fan most notably a Yankee fan. His knowledge of contemporary music, the musicians and his album collection was extreme. His greatest love was his family and friends. He will be sadly missed. He was the beloved father of Grace Giramma of Austin, TX and Dale Giramma of Narragansett. Brother of Teresa Hutson and her husband Richard of Bonita Springs, FL, Robert Giramma and his wife Sue of San Diego, CA, Richard Giramma and his wife Wendy of Hillsborough, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a large extended family, each of whom was special to him in their own way. His funeral services will be held on Saturday at 4:30pm in the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd., (Rte., 1A) Narragansett. VISITING HOURS: Saturday 2-4:30pm.
