88, of Cranston, passed away on Monday May 25, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Rose Marie (Martinelli) Iafrate. He was born in Johnston, a son of the late Orazio and Anna (Cambio) Iafrate.
Mr. Iafrate was a specialist tool maker at Leviton Manufacturing in Warwick for 35 years until his retirement; he was a WW II Army veteran.
Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children, Carol Iafrate of Cranston, Joseph H. Iafrate and his wife Donna of Johnston, Doreen Iafrate of Smithfield, his dear brother John Iafrati and his wife Anna of Cranston; his cherished granddaughter Heather Iafrate Snowling and great granddaughters Taylor and Brianna. Joseph was also the brother of the late Anna Menna , Anthony and Gerald Iafrate.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday morning 8-9 am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Heritage Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 80 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917.
