Joseph Lanni

64, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was the beloved husband for 39 years of Patti A. (Picard) Lanni. Born in Prata Sannita, Italy, he was the son of Mario Lanni of Italy and the late Giovanina (Testa) Lanni.

Joe was known for his strong work ethic and big heart. He was an avid fisherman, gardener, and loved to cook. Joe spent most of his career as an HVAC supervisor for Hart Mechanical in Connecticut, however his favorite roles were father and Papa. He was a past member of the Santa Maria diPrata Society in Cranston. He will be missed dearly by his many family and friends. 

Besides his wife Patti and his father Mario, Joe was the devoted father of Joseph M. Lanni and his wife Kendra of Chepachet, Michael C. Lanni and Brittany N. Lanni both of Johnston, cherished and loving grandfather of Garrett and Genevieve Lanni; and dear brother of Carlo Lanni of Cranston.

VISITING HOURS to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Wednesday, June 26th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
