Joseph 'Pinky' Moretti
76, of Saunderstown, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Joan (Morrocco) Moretti. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary (DeTraglia) Moretti. Mr. Moretti was a Korean War veteran, serving in the Air Force. Joseph worked as a real estate broker for fifty-one years, before his retirement.
Besides his wife, he is survived by Justin Werner of Annapolis, MD. Joseph was the brother of Eileen Caraccia of Saunderstown and the late Marjorie Romeo. He is also survived by two nieces Dena and Lori Caraccia.
His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday morning 8-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Dialysis Center of Wakefield, 10 High St., Unit 3, Wakefield, RI 02879.
