JOSEPH J. OLIVO

93, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (DeFusco) Olivo. Joseph was born in Providence, a son of the late Stefano and Rosa (Chille) Olivo. Mr. Olivo was the owner and operator of Diamond Auto Body and Sales; he was also a WW II Army Air Force veteran.
Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children, Deborah Peluso and her husband Richard of Cranston, Stephen Olivo and his wife Donna of Bristol, his dear sister Rose Olivo of Providence and was also the cherished grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 2. Joseph was also the brother of the late Nunzio, Pasquale and Antonetta Olivo and Margaret Greenwell and Mary Gomes.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday morning 8-9 am. Kindly omit flowers.
