JOSEPH POMPEI

of Johnston, passed away on Sunday August 19, 2018 at RI Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Catanzaro) Pompei. Born in Pico, Italy he was the son of the late Domenico and Concetta (Forte) Pompei. Joseph was the founder and operator of Village Barber Salon of Cranston for the past 50 years.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Cheryl Marquez and her husband Antonio, Joseph Pompei, Jr. and his wife Deborah and Sharon Paquin and her husband Stephen; loving grandfather of Christina, Alyssa, Allan, Stephanie, Christopher and Nicholas; dear brother of Rocco Pompei  and Antonio Pompei.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Friday August 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church 931 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 11 a.m.

Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Visit hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
