83, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday November 26, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Theresa (Pazienza) Rotondo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elisa (Colardo) Rotondo. Joseph was a freight driver for Time D.C. Trucking Company for 20 years, before his retirement. He was a U.S. Korean War Army veteran. He was a former member of the Rhode Island Art Association and was a member of Local 251 Teamsters. Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Debra DiDonato and Claudia Pezzullo both of Cranston; three grandchildren, Melissa Gallo, Amanda Carnevale and Steven DiDonato; and five great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother of Eugene Rotondo of Cranston, Gloria Mobilia of East Greenwich and the late Costantino Rotondo and Assunta Rotondo. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
