Joseph A. Russo
83, of Victor Ave., Johnston, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 58 years of Gloria L. (Bianco) Russo. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Carlo and Angelina (Natale) Russo.
Mr. Russo worked for the Town of Johnston Highway Dept. before retiring and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Donna M. Cascella of North Providence, Joseph A. Russo, Jr. and his wife Kathleen and Michael C. Russo, all of Johnston; loving grandfather of Danielle and Louis Cascella, and Michael, Joseph and Tayla Russo; and brother of Anne Russo and the late George and Raymond Russo, Dorothy Fernandes and Dolores Silvestri.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd., Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
