90, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Coventry Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late Irvin A. Baker. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Dorothy (Dana) Kennedy. Josephine was a graduate of Central High School and was employed as a clerk for the RI Department of Health. She was happiest being a wife, mother, grandmother, being around her family, doing things for them and with them. Josephine was an avid sports fan who enjoyed the Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots. Josephine is survived by her loving children, Joanne M. DiBona and her husband John of Cranston, Donald R. Baker and his wife Roberta of Cranston, Robert C. Baker and his fiancAC.e Cidalia of Cranston, and Stephen C. Baker and his wife Sue of Coventry. She was the cherished grandmother of Christopher M. DiBona, John M. DiBona, Julie R. Baker, Joseph D. Baker and his wife Rebecca, Kerri A. Baker, Matthew R. Baker, Monica R. Baker, and the great-grandmother of Xavier Baker and Mackenzie Baker. Josephine was the sister of Charlotte Allienello of Narragansett, Donald Kennedy of West Warwick, and the late Geraldine Lannon, Virginia Buchanan, and John R. Kennedy. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston. Burial will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
