Josephine M. (Licciardi) Pietrunti
85, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife for 65 years of Nicholas A. Pietrunti. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Bernadette "Bertha" (Querceto) Licciardi.
Mrs. Pietrunti worked for the State of RI School Lunch Program and was head cook at Classical High School in Providence for many years before retiring.
Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Nicholas A. Pietrunti, Jr. of Natick, MA, Donna M. Pietrunti and Debra A. Pietrunti, both of Cranston, loving grandmother of four; loving great-grandmother of four; and dear sister of Anna Pelino of Cranston and the late Yolanda Tagliaferri and Assunta DiMuccio. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday, February 11th at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
