Josephine J. (Dello Iacono) Pitocco

81, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday October 29, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John Pitocco, of Johnston. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Lena (Simone) Dello Iacono.

Josephine enjoyed shopping, trips to the casino for bingo and playing the slot machines, reading books, watching TV and movies, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, James J. Pitocco and his fiancé Melissa Maher of Attleboro, MA and Joan S. Pitocco of Johnston, RI; cherished granddaughters Gabrielle M. Pitocco of Brookline, MA and Jessica J. Pitocco of Smithfield, RI; dear sister of Susan A. Barone of Cranston, RI and Camille Simonelli and her husband Robert of Lincoln, RI.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
