Josephine R. (Mainella) Smith

92, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at Alpine Nursing Home in Coventry. Born in East Providence, she spent the early years of her marriage in Louisana with her late husband W.Tyler Smith, Sr. Josephine worked for the Cranston School Department for over 20 years as a secretary.
She was the loving mother of Tyler Smith, Alexis Leonard and the late Evangelynn Stebenne. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mark Church 15 Garden Ct. Cranston. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston.
