Josephine (Sullo) Zompa

100, of Kearney St., Cranston, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Scandinavian Home in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasco A. Zompa. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Michele and Saveria (Colacone) Sullo.

Josephine was the devoted mother of Robert W. Zompa and his wife Donna of Marlborough, MA, and the late Col. Edward A. Zompa and his wife Gayle of League, TX. She was the cherished grandmother of Edward Zompa, Kristin Zompa, Robert Zompa II, Kimberly Zompa-Sanzi, and Jamie Zompa; loving great-grandmother of Robert A. Zompa, Alyssa Zompa, Jessica Sanzi, Juliana Sanzi, Adelaide Willert, Blake Willert, Nicholas Zompa and Emma Zompa; and dear sister of Susan Mollicone of Cranston, her late twin brothers Antonio and Michael Sullo, and the late Mary Zaccardelli, Jennie Manzi and Dolores DiPippo.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 1st at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, Garden City, Cranston. Burial will be at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
