Josephine "Jo" Cipolla

89, of Cedar Bay Dr., Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife for 66 years of Ralph Cipolla.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Sarah (Pezza) Santoro.

Josephine was a graduate of Bryant College. An avid golfer, she was a member of La Gorce Country Club in Miami Beach, FL, Monarch Country Club in Palm City, FL and Alpine Country Club in Cranston.

Besides her husband Ralph, Josephine was the devoted mother of Virginia M. Cipolla of Hope, Steven A. Cipolla of Warwick and Brian K. Cipolla and his wife Lori of Cranston; loving grandmother of Jamie, Jodi, Sarah, Justine, Steven, Bianca, Briana, Brian, Brandon and Luciana; loving great-grandmother of Nicholas, Katie and Sophia; and dear sister of Betty Fortin of Johnston and the late Angelina Mendonza.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 13th at 8:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd., Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
