Joyce M. Valentine-Kenney
64, of Crestwood Dr., Narragansett, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife for 43 years of Robert D. Kenney. Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Athena (Lagoudakis) Valentine.
A graduate of URI, Joyce was a CPA. She was a board member of RI Project Aids; a board member of Community Health Systems in Attleboro, MA; and Treasurer of RI Natural History Survey.
Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Elizabeth V. Kenney of Narragansett and dear sister of Janice Sullivan of Manchester, MI, Jeanette D'Agostino of Highland, MI and James Valentine of Dana Point, CA.
A celebration of her life will be held a later date.
