Judith Jones Hey

died on May 29, 2024.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Mary (Shaw) Jones and A. Kenyon Jones, she summered in Narragansett for many years, while maintaining a winter residence in the Rumford section of East Providence.  She became a full time resident of Narragansett years ago.

She was a communicant of St. Veronica Chapel.

She attended the Barbizon School of Modeling in New York and received a bachelor’s degree from Bryant College.  Judy was the former President of the Rumford PTA, a Girl Scout leader and the former snow queen at Bryant College.

She leaves three children, Mary J. Soles of Wakefield, Bruce B. Hey and his wife Karol of Alexandria, LA and Ann E. Richard of Wakefield, thirteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.   She was the mother of the late Lorraine S. O’Hara and Lawrence K. Hey.
