Julia A. (Archetto) Izzo

93, of Cranston and Pompano Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred A. Izzo. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Conca) Archetto.
Julia worked for the City of Cranston for 33 years retiring as Chief Clerk in the Finance Department.
She was the devoted mother of Alfred A. Izzo, Jr. and his wife Julie of Warwick and Paul D. Izzo and his wife Susan of Greenville; loving grandmother of Alfred A. Izzo, III, Michael P. Izzo and his wife Samantha, Elissa J. Huskins and her husband Joshua, Stefanie S. Izzo and Christopher J. Izzo; loving great-grandmother of Alexandra, Abigail and Cecelia; and dear sister of Henry Archetto of Cranston and the late Daniel, Angelo, Alfred and John Archetto and Irene Zaroogian. Julia also leaves her sister-in-law Esther Izzo and dearest friend Mary Gliottone, both of Cranston.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
