92, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Carlo J. Jacavone for 73 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Althea (Dunbar) Redinger.
Julia possessed a remarkable green thumb and took great joy in tending her garden each summer. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.
In addition to her husband Carlo, she is survived by her loving children, Julie Hopkins of Johnston, Susan Capraro and her husband Angelo of Johnston, Carlo J. Jacavone Jr., and his wife Michelle of Scituate, and John Jacavone and his wife Dorne of Exeter. Julia was the cherished grandmother of seven and adored great grandmother of eight. Julia was the sister of the late Charlies Redinger and his late wife Joan Redinger, Joseph Redinger and his wife Sharon of Johnston.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, July 10th, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Funeral Home Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
