Karen A. 'Memom' Cady

67, passed away at her home in Providence, surrounded by her family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Emma) Cady and the beloved wife of the late Carmine Caparco. Karen worked as a clerk for The Amica Insurance Company, enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family.

Known to most as "Memom", she is survived by her loving children; Susan Notorantonio of Cranston, Karen Sanford of Swansea, MA and Rhonda Phillips of Providence. She was the Grandmother of Eddie Sanford, Amanda Cesario, Nicole Trainor, Kevin Phillips, Carmine Phillips, Joseph Notorantonio, Amber Sanford and Megan Phillips. Karen was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Jiovanna Sanford, Austin Cesario and Carmine Sanford. She was the sister of Donald, Dennis, Leonard and Richard Cady, Carlton Angell and the late Kathleen Thibeault and Ernest Cady. Karen also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
