Our beloved Karen,59 of Los Angeles California, passed away at home in East Greenwich, Rhode Island on Friday April 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
She lived for nearly 20 years with Ovarian Cancer and was a strong patient advocate who taught us the power of taking action to push the boundaries of medical care.
Early in her career as a professional she traveled extensively across the country as a Document Management Consultant. She loved the outdoors, was an avid sailor, artist and great friend to all. A woman of indomitable spirit and inspiration, she was courageous, beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful, genuine and compassionate.
Now she begins her soulful journey. We will miss and honor her all the days of our lives.
She is predeceased by her parents, Ben and Lily Rose Sabatini and survived by her brother Ben, sisters Susan and Diane, collie Oona and a large extensive family of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
