Kenneth E. "Red Light" Martin

60, of Jupiter, FL, formerly of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Boca Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, FL. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Edward and Gloria (Turilli) Martin.

Kenneth is survived by his loving daughter, Sarah Renee Martin of East Greenwich; his beloved wife, Amalia Valenti whom he met 2 years ago and were married on July 18, 2016; Amalia’s children Daniel and David Valenti; dear brother of Steve Martin of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Kenneth was a graduate of Pilgrim High School and CCRI. He worked as a supervisor for UPS and later as a self-employed builder. Kenneth was a lifelong ice hockey goalie where he affectionately earned the nickname “Red Light”. He was also an avid golfer. Kenneth had the ability to light up a room when he entered. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He was a dear friend to all who knew him.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Friday at 8:45 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 4 – 8 pm.
