Khanhkham Kompradith

96, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Elmhurst Healthcare, Providence.

Born on December 20, 1928 in Laos, she lived a long fulfilling life. Upon coming to the United States, her and her late husband were devoted to helping others. They sponsored many families to come to America, and most of us would not be here today without them. Khanhkham predominately worked in the manufacturing/jewelry business before retiring to care for her husband.

After her husband passed, she focused on remaining happy on the simple things. She loved spending time with her family, being around others, gardening, telling stories, and watching football. She always made sure she prayed for everybody, no matter who they were. She constantly gave blessings to those who needed it without question. One quote she would live by and instill into us was “Money comes and goes, but do the things that make you happy. We must see the world, hear its subtle messages, smell its flavors, touch its surface, and taste its sweetness.”

She was the beloved wife of the late Phoung Kompradith. She is survived by her loving children, Keomanyphone “Lily” Keoviphone and Vixay Keoviphone; grandchildren, Johnnie Keoviphone, his wife Zearica and their children Ellahni and Kaia; Jessica Keoviphone, her fiancé Suthpha Muth and their children Penelope and Parker; Chanthaly Morin, her husband Jared Morin and their children Jared and Adam; Virawood Jimmy Vilayvanh, his wife Stephanie Lutrario and their son Jacob Vilayvanh; Phonmany Kompradith and her husband Vandara Peou; Sinnakhone Kompradith, his fiancé Jenny Silavong and his children Darinee, Kayto, and Caden; Lutdavone Dixon, and her husband Brad and their children Loic and Levi; Kalouma Soydara; as well as many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
