Lawrence A. Catone

66, of Fall River, formerly of Providence and Maui, HI, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. He was the beloved husband of Arlene Renee Vercher Catone. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Conti) Catone.

Larry was the proprietor of East West Exhibitors in CA. He was also a longtime resident of Hawaii, where he loved nothing more than being on the beach with his Ohana in Kihei, Maui. He was manager of the Providence Civic Center during the 70’s. He was the type of guy that could light up a room with his upbeat attitude, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Richard Catone, step-son Jason Anthony Muzingo and step-daughter Brooklyn Govea; his brother Ronnie Catone and his wife Jane; nieces Ellena and Rayna Catone; great nephew Ronnie Catone, his wife Jessie and their son Armani; first cousins Stephen and Loretta Restivo Whitesides and many others residing in Texas.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will precede the service from 3 – 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Potter League for Animals, PO Box 412, Newport, RI 02840.
