Lawrence M. Celani

76, of Scituate Vista Ave., Cranston, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Karen (Lomastro) Celani. Born in Providence, he was the devoted son of the late Peter and Lillian (Turner) Celani.

Lawrence worked in communications in the radio industry for many years before retiring.

He was the loving father of Mary E. Wentzell (Nathaniel) of North Providence, Patricia L. Smith (Steven) of Ledyard, CT and Bethany K. Celani of West Warwick; cherished grandfather of William, Alex, Emma, Mason, Mackenzie, Providence and Maxxwell; and dear brother of Stephen Celani of Warwick and the late Linda Elf and Richard Celani.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, July 16th at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday, July 15th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
