Lena (Marandola) Del Giudice

93, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West  Warwick after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Del Giudice. Born in Johnston,  she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Catarina (D’Acchioli) Marandola. Lena was an assembler at Bostitch in East Greenwich for 17 years until retiring in 1985.

She is survived by her loving son Joseph Del Giudice and his wife Susan of  Cranston, her dear siblings, Anna Jacavone and her husband John of Port Charlotte, FL and George Marandola and his wife Margaret of North Scituate.  She was also the step grandmother of Desiree Jones-Catalano of Cranston and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Lena was also the sister of the late Marie and Annie DiRaimo, Filomena Iannelli, Catherine Cimino, Joseph, Thomas, Pasco and Vincent Marandola.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
