Of Morgan Avenue, Johnston, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 25th, by giving us all her gift of love. She was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Alfonsina (Piemonte) D’Acchioli. Married to the love of her life, the late Louis J. Mansolillo, she was the cherished mother to Louis D. Mansolillo and his wife Susan of Johnston, Joseph G. Mansolillo and his wife Katie of Johnston and Daniel R. Mansolillo and his wife Marcia of Cranston. She was the proud grandmother to Alisa Cimini and her husband Matthew and Joseph Jr., Jeni and Madison Mansolillo. She leaves a brother, Cosmo, and a sister, Catherine – both of Johnston. She was also a sister to the late Domenico “Timmy”, Andreana, Anna, Olindo “Pop”, Ernest, Crescenzo “Christy”, and Joseph D’Acchioli, and Mafalda “Muffy” DiRaimo.
Lena truly lived a ‘wonderful’ life – evident by her inviting and beautiful smile. A terrific cook where she was employed for many years at the corporate office of Almac’s in East Providence. Along with her husband, she was also proprietor of Pete’s Arcade at Misquamicut Beach in Westerly. The Mansolillo family gratefully acknowledges the entire staff at the Morgan Health Center, Inc. for their friendship and outstanding personal care provided.
