Lena Rose (Spicuzza) Rocchio

98, of Johnston, RI, went to be with our Heavenly Lord on July 6, 2025 at Phillip Hulitar Inpatient Center of Providence RI surrounded by her loving daughters. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Rocchio for 66 years. Born in Providence, Lena was the daughter of the late Augustas and Rose (Catanzaro) Spicuzza.

Lena began her working career in the investment department of Hospital Trust Bank upon her high school graduation, transitioning to data keypunch when she started her family. From there she became a bookkeeper for Rocchio Construction (her husband’s business), then Catamore Jewelry Co. of RI and Hasbro Toy Manufacturer, where she retired after several rewarding years of service. She made friends at her various jobs that lasted a lifetime. She enjoyed many years of traveling to beautiful locations with her husband Pat, family and friends. She also enjoyed family gatherings and trips to Bonnett Shores. Lee was extremely proud of her daughters and their accomplishments, and her great grandchildren were the highlight of her life.

Lena was the beloved mother of Patricia Gervais (Arthur) of Scituate RI and Carol O’Donnell (Sal) of Narragansett RI. Lee was the loving grandmother of Jacqueline, Raymond, Andrea, Danielle and Stephen, and the Great Grama of eight. She was the sister of the late Sarah, Salvatore (Tina), Augustas (Lola), Joseph (Angela) and Robert Spicuzza. Lena also had many nieces & nephews whom she was very fond of, especially her God-daughter Michelle and her nephew Dennis. She greatly appreciated her wonderful neighbors Debbie, Missy and Gabby.

Her funeral will be held Saturday July 12, 20205 at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory located at 1278 Park Ave., Cranston RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston RI. At 10 am. The burial will be at Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston RI, graveside.

Visiting hours are Friday July 11, 2025 from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Foundation or Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street. Providence RI.
