Lenora (Mastriani) Avarista
97, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Victoria Court in Cranston. She was the wife of the late Louie Avarista. Born in Providence, Lenora was a daughter to the late Tullio and Annie (Altieri) Mastriani.
She was the devoted mother to her four children; Louis Avarista of Cranston, Verna Guerin of Coventry, Linda Iozzi of Cranston and Anita Lemos and her husband Alberto of Lincoln. Lenora leaves behind seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ralph Mastriani and Christine Francesconi.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 State Street, Suite 200, Providence, RI, 02908.
