Leon "Levon" Nacaroglu

78, of North Kingstown, went to be home with the Lord after a battle with cancer.  Born in Elazig, Turkey, he was the son of the late Bedros and Gulistan (Der Arsenian) Nacarcglu.

Leon is pre-deceased by his brothers Antranik and Hugus Nacarcglu and aunts Altoon Chamalian and Yesha Mahdesian.  He was the loving father to Jessica Altoon Nacarcglu and also leaves his wife Joyce.  Brother of Mariam Citikyan and brother-in-law of Soffiya Nacarcglu. Nieces and nephews Gulistan Chamalian, Verjin, Ani, Arsen, Yercanik, Sarkis and Vartuhi. Cousins Siranoush Avedisian, Mary Chakoian and Armen Derderian. Late cousins of Avedis Mahdesian, George Chamalian and Sarkis Chamalian.

Leon lived in Istanbul, Turkey before moving to RI in 1974.

His Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Saturday, September 3rd at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, followed by burial at North Burial Ground, Providence.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
