Liberata 'Libby' DePetrillo

93, of Cranston passed into eternal life surrounded by her loving family on
Wednesday March 23, 2016 after a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Dr. Raymond J. DePetrillo. Born in Cranston she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Angelina (DelFino) Mastrobuono. Libby graduated from Cranston High School where she was a national honor society recipient. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church from its inception. She was a charter member of the Alpine Country Club and she hosted many planning sessions in her home. Libby dedicated her life to her family and dispensed love and understanding endlessly .Her disarming smile and compassionate nature was felt by everyone. An outstanding cook, Holidays at her home were highly anticipated by both family and friends and her desserts were examples of perfection.

She is survived by her loving children Raymond J. DePetrillo Jr.; Marilyn
DePetrillo; Lori DePetrillo, her dedicated and outstanding caregiver, and her
husband David Gioffreda, with whom she lived, all of Cranston; she was the
cherished grandmother of Raymond J. DePetrillo III and sister of Lenore Ronci of Cranston and the late Joseph Mastrobuono Sr. and Dolores Mancini.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church Cranston at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 5:00-8:00 p.m.
