Lillian M. ((Goding)) Lanni

95, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at Greenwood Center in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Walter A. Lanni. Born in Lynchberg, VA she was the daughter of the late Alden and Ethel (Self) Goding.

Lillian was a supervisor for housekeeping at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence for many years before retiring.

She was the mother of Walter J. Lanni and his wife Anne, Carol A. Farrar and her husband Kenneth, James A. Lanni and Robert A. Lanni; grandmother of eight; great-grandmother of four; sister of James Goding, Virginia Jindra and the late Alden Goding Jr. and Marguerite Sommerville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday April 1, 2017 in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 9 a.m. followed by burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
