Linda Ruggieri Carbone

68 of Scituate passed away June 18, 2026 surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. Ruggieri and Leona Ruggieri (Palombo). 

She is survived by her devoted children, Jaclyn and Jon Augustine, Anthony Carbone and William Gilman, and their father Frank Carbone. Linda was the cherished sister of Thomas Ruggieri, Brad Ruggieri, Susan and Stephen Marandola, and the late William (Billy) Ruggieri. She is also survived by her beloved nephew Stephen Marandola Jr., and her adored grandson James Joseph Augustine. Linda leaves behind many nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters in-law, and other dear family & friends. 

Linda was a strong dedicated woman who put 100% into everything she did. She embodied strength and resilience. She worked for Bank of America for over 45 years of service as a Vice President. Linda had a passion for art, decorating, and loved making her house feel like a warm home. She was an avid reader and loved murder mysteries. She enjoyed long afternoons on the back of a motorcycle and never deprived a slot machine of a penny. Her favorite pastime by far was spending time with the people she cherished most. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Continuum Hospice and Palliative Care and Father William Ledoux for their support during this difficult time. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 26th at 11 a.m. at Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
