LINDA J. (GALLOWAY) HAMEL

69, of Chepachet, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the wife of Edgar Hamel. Born in Webster, MA, she was a daughter of the late John and Eva (SanSouci) Galloway. Linda was the mother of Dawn White and her husband Steven of Pascoag, Lynnette White and her husband Kevin of NC and Wendy Hamel-Sherzer and her husband Lukas of Providence. Grandmother of Steven White, Karlyca Conroy, Brandon White, Eric White, Brian White and Gideon Sherzer, Great Grandmother of Aliyah White, Elijah White and Gianna Conroy. Sister of John Galloway of NH. Linda loved spending time working in her garden. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 am in St. Eugene Church, 1251 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Burial will be private.
