Loretta C. (DeNoncour) Prosser

88, of Warwick, RI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Avalon Nursing Home in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Oswald S. Prosser. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie Y. (Guilbeault) DeNoncour.

Loretta enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and doing word-search.

She was the devoted mother of Annette Jordan of Cranston, Edward Prosser and his wife Lisa of Warwick, Cheryl Prosser, Araida Mazzola and her husband Andy and Brenda McCallum all of GA, Naomi Romero and her husband Carlos of CA and Tammy Quick and her husband Rob of NJ; cherished grandmother of fifteen; loving great-grandmother of twelve; and dear sister of Ernest DeNoncour and Walter DeNoncour both of FL and the late Roland DeNoncour, Joseph DeNoncour, Yvonne Assanti and Ora Rathbun-Oberg.

Her Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Saturday, January 10th at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to funeral service.
