Lori Lynn Arruda

49, of Richmond, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at home. Born in Warwick, she was a beloved daughter of Marjorie H. (Bradley) Arruda of Richmond and the late John A. Arruda. Lori was employed in housekeeping services at the University of Rhode Island and the Alton Jones Conference Center for ten years. Besides her mother, Lori is survived by her loving son Christopher S. Gardiner of Richmond. She was the cherished sister of Terri A. Arruda of East Greenwich, Kimberly Arruda, and Robin Williams, both of Richmond. Lori was the companion of fourteen years to Edward McGovern of Richmond. Her graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Margin Street, Westerly. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
