Louis C. Altieri
91, of Darrow Dr., Warwick, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the husband of Linda (Mayle) Altieri. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Figlioini) Altieri.
Louis was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry for many years before retiring and was a WW-II U.S. Navy submarine combat veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by ten children; his sister Edith Andreozzi of Lincoln; his former wife Mary (Pisaturo) Altieri of West Warwick; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Ann Marie Altieri and brother of the late Frank Altieri.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
