81, of Warwick, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at home. He was the beloved husband of forty-eight years to Frances (DeFilippo) Cimaglio. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael and Carmina (Verdelotti) Cimaglio. Louis was employed by the Cranston School Department for twenty-five years before retiring in 2008. He was an avid golfer. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Lori M. Kuhn of Warwick, David M. Cimaglio of Johnston, Francine A. Caraccia and her husband Ralph of Cranston, Christopher J. Cimaglio of Warwick, Donna DeCosta of Johnston, Louie Cimaglio, and Howard Cimaglio, both of Cranston. Louis was the cherished grandfather of Kendra Finocchiaro, Joseph Cimaglio, Matthew and Kathryn Caraccia. He was the brother of the late Dorothy Alardi and Joseph Cimaglio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Benedict Church, 135 Beach Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
