Louis S. Coccia

Louis S. Coccia, 72, of Exeter Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, including his dog and grand dogs, and a crackling fire. He was the cherished husband of Joyce A. Faraone for 45 years, and beloved dad of his daughter Lucianna Faraone Coccia and daughter in-law Tasia Wells. Besides his wife, daughter, and daughter-in law, he is survived by his loving mother Margaret Coccia. He also leaves behind his sister Jean Kenney, brother-in-law Kevin Kenney, brother in-law Paul Altruda, sister-in-law Jody Desiderato, nephew Kevin Kenney, great nephews Jack and Joseph, nephew Jerry Desiderato his wife Christa, and great nephews Alex and Luca, his niece Meg Kenney, her partner Kimberly Rego and his great nephew Nathan. He grew up in the Silver Lake section of Providence, where his family founded Mar-Lou Jewelry company. He was a fisherman, a forager, a family man, and fabulously flamboyant. Though he was a man of few words, he had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. To know him was to love him. A  celebration of life will be held at a later date.
