Louis B. D’Arezzo, 87, of Johnston passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, with his family by his side. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Bartolomeo and Elvira (Campagnone) D’Arezzo. He was the loving husband of 32 years to the late Lisa M. (Costa) D’Arezzo.
He was an entrepreneur in the local community for many years, working for B. D’Arezzo Construction Co. He was known for his generosity and was a friend to all that met him. A true gentleman that was always smiling, full of life, slow to anger, and never speaking an ill word of anyone. His pastimes included being an avid foodie, visiting many of the well-known restaurants on Federal Hill, traveling, trips to the beach and most notably be the unofficial “Mayor” of the Garden City, Dunkin Donuts. However, family was the most important to him, he was wholeheartedly devoted to his wife and daughters, prior to his wife Lisa’s passing the two were always together.
He is survived by his cherished daughters Brittney Lynn D’Arezzo of Johnston, and Cheryl D’Arezzo of Cranston. He was the devoted bother of Gertrude Columbo, and the uncle of Paul Columbo and the late Anthony Columbo.
His funeral will leave at 9:15 am on Monday January 5, 2026, from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Bartholemew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 4, 2026 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm .
