Louis DelSesto, Jr.

96, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 28, 2026 at HopeHealth Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Ida (San Antonio) DelSesto for 74 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis and Lydia (Corsi) DelSesto, Sr.

Louis first worked as an electrical superintendent for Adel Electric, his family’s business. He then went on to work for the Gilbane Building Co. in the same role for many years before retiring. He was a lifelong member of the IBEW Local #99, and a member of the Pawtucket Country Club for over 50 years.

Besides his wife Ida, he is survived by his loving children, Claudia DelSesto, Lynn Cioffi and her husband Robert, Louis DelSesto III and his wife Paula, Andrea Wilson and her husband Jeff; cherished grandchildren, William DeLeo and his wife Jill, Tara Cioffi, Robert Cioffi and his wife Silvana, Sara DelSesto and Aaron DelSesto; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Phaedra DeLeo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial will be private.
